Specimen repository links

Specimens available from HVTN studies!

The HVTN and several other clinical trial networks have collaborated on a shared specimen repository tracking system in order to make the larger body of specimens collected for HIV research available to investigators. The specimens stored at the repositories were initially collected for specific studies that have concluded, have been approved for use by network leadership and are now available to investigators conducting new research.

Links to the specimen repository for selected HVTN studies are now available on the study pages in DataSpace under Other study resources.

Clicking on the link will take you to a specimen inventory summary for that study on the specimen repository website. The summary will show the types and number of specimens available. Specimens can be requested using the research proposal form on the repository website.
