More assay data now available!

Non-integrated datasets are now available on the study pages!

There have been over 50 different assays performed in CAVD and HVTN studies. Currently, the DataSpace provides standardized assay data, integrated across studies, for the most commonly performed assays, i.e. BAMA, ICS, NAb, PK MAb, and ELISpot. In order to provide data for additional assays that have not yet been standardized, or are not able to be standardized, we have upgraded the DataSpace to enable us to post individual, study-specific datasets to the study pages. These non-integrated datasets can be downloaded from within DataSpace or accessed programmatically using the DataSpaceR API (application programming interface).

For the initial rollout of this new non-integrated data feature, we processed and posted data for the ADCP (phagocytosis) and Fc Array assays from HVTN 505, as well as some supplemental demographics data from that trial used in a recent publication, Neidich 2019(J Clin Invest). We've created a tutorial report, HVTN 505 Highlights from: Antibody Fc effector functions and IgG3 associate with decreased HIV-1 risk (Neidich 2019), to demonstrate how both integrated and non-integrated datasets can be used to reproduce plots and findings from the publication and do further exploration of the data.

Going forward, as a routine, we'll process and post non-integrated assay data along with the integrated assay data following study completion. In addition, we'll continue to process and post non-integrated assay data for those studies with priority given to studies and assays of highest interest to the field. If there's data that you'd like to see posted, just contact us at [email protected].
